Great bit of kit, but NOT for 3 MTB
This is an excellent device, goes rock solid on the tow bar in less than a minute. There is only one draw back: unless they are really small bikes you will drive yourself INSANE trying to get 3 adult MTB on this carrier, bending spokes, grinding pedal against paint work and snagging every possible cable - buy it for TWO adult bikes and you'll be very happy. Don't forget you must also hang a reg-plate on it....and if it covers your rear lights you may be pulled over.

Perfect
After seeing this on another car, doing some research and price comparisons, was convinced by previous buyers' reviews and have not regretted it! It does take a little while to put together, but is easy to remove from car, easy to load bike - thank goodness for adjustable clamps as my electric bike has no cross-bar. Will probably invest in loading ramp, which was out of stock at time of ordering rack. Can recommend highly.

Brilliant Product!
This is an amazing product. The only downside are the instructions which are just photographs and took me a little while to fully understand. However, once sorted they are brilliant. I used them to pick up an Enterprise dinghy mast which is over six metres long and it took just a few moments to load and was very safe and stable on a two hundred mile drive home. Genius and very good value for such a quality product. Thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant engineering, cryptic instructions
Item arrived quickly, securely packed and complete with tools. Instructions relied on drawings which needed very careful examination to determine what they meant. Assembled easily using enclosed tools. Main problem was finding the adjustment to fit the lower arms exactly on the boot lid. It is there in the instructions but difficult to understand that the lower arms need to be screwed in or out.

Once fitted, it is easy to put on and off and folds nearly flat for wall storage. Bikes go on securely and do not obstruct plates or lights (Honda Jazz).

I am well satisfied.

So much easier
I had a bike rack that fitted onto the back of the car, high level so it did not need a number plate. But found it fiddly to fit and if your shoulders are not to good difficult to lift the bikes onto. Had a tow bar fitted and purchased this as you can buy different fittings to carry different items. Once you have found a way that works when fitting the Easy Base, for you it is much easier and more secure. I added the bike rack and lock to my order. While the Easy Base has some weight I found it much easier than the old one. I have the tow bar grip set so it slots onto the ball and then hand tighten the clamp, thus holds the Easy Base while you do the final tightening of the clamp. Word of warning if you put it on too loose the Easy Base will swing on the clamp and could drop down far enough to hit you. This system is very good and I feel much more confident with this than the previous rack I used. I would recomend this for several reasons, Safe , Secure, well made, you don't have to...

quality bike rack
Purchased to put on a tow bar of a campervan. A good quality, sturdy piece of kit. It fits on the tow bar securely in seconds and two full-size moutain bikes fit fine on the rack. Only warning is this is a sturdy, heavy piece of kit so my missus would struggle a bit carrying it to the van. Recommended
