Best mount on the market
I bought my iBike mount in September in the USA before they were readily available here. It superseded my Tigra mount which was not substantial and resulted in one smashed I phone. This mount fully protects and secures the phone in place, it can be used in the mount with North Face e tip gloves and is fully waterproof; mine had the full test in torrential rain this last Sunday over 18 miles. The mount has the additional stability in the bracket with the "screw in aspect" supplementing it sliding into the bracket. All in all having used for 3 months and having covered probably 300-400 miles in that time I am fully satisfied that my I phone is safe, secure and is a great accompaniment for measuring speed, routes etc!! Genius!
Well, what can I say about this product? Not a great deal actually. I've used it a couple of times and, so far, it is EXCELLENT!
I cannot comment on it's durability and longevity yet, but it's ease of use, practicality etc are very, very good.
With the iPhone 4 insert you get a perfect fit and the touch screen works perfectly through the case.
I have one, itsy bitsy issue (well I've got to balance the review!) which is the fact that, being an iPhone 4 it has the case on, to address the signal issues (thanks apple!), and it's a tad annoying having to remove it each time to put it on the bike. However this really is just a niggly little thing and doesn't detract from how good I think this product is.
If you want a bike mount for your iPhone (3 or 4), the I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND this product.

Not as good as Biologic make it out to be
I purchased this product about 2 months ago, and I have used it at least 3 times every week since and I have covered more than 1000 miles with it. The construction of the product appeared to be good, but after a little use, I have noticed some problems with it.

The first of which I noticed that although the iphone 4 fits snugly, once I had closed and secured the lid, I did notice that where the gap between the top and bottom is where the silicon inlay/seal should, but was actually further inside than it should have been. Since then if the weather had looked as though there might have been some rain, I would always check the seal, and on occasion, I would be able to see a small amount of the silver edge of the phone and I would adjust the silicon inlay accordingly.

Another problem I found was with the screen, because it has a gloss finish, if reflects a lot of light and shadows which can make it difficult to read the screen at times. I do have a matt finish...

I've bought this to carry bikes on my VW Golf Mk5 - replacing a 20 year old carrier held on by straps. I think it's great! Easy to assemble and mount on the car and feels really solid with the bikes on the back (I was always a bit scared of my old carrier which wobbled around a bit). Having the track rails makes it easy for one person to put the bikes on the rack and they're above the lights and number plate so no worries.

Brilliant engineering, cryptic instructions
Item arrived quickly, securely packed and complete with tools. Instructions relied on drawings which needed very careful examination to determine what they meant. Assembled easily using enclosed tools. Main problem was finding the adjustment to fit the lower arms exactly on the boot lid. It is there in the instructions but difficult to understand that the lower arms need to be screwed in or out.

Once fitted, it is easy to put on and off and folds nearly flat for wall storage. Bikes go on securely and do not obstruct plates or lights (Honda Jazz).

I am well satisfied.

I bought this mount under one of its numerous names to mount a contour roam in a waterproof case at the end of my swimming lane, specifically to record myself finswimming for self coaching purposes.

To mount the waterproof case, it was necessary to remove the slide-in mount and replace it with the supplied standard 1/4 inch screw. Once that had been done, the mount was suitable for a whole army of other cameras too. Mine has spent much time clamped to my back windows holding various digital cameras at different times either videoing or photographing the wildlife visiting my garden.

It is very secure and stable once properly mounted, and here an instruction leaflet would have got me to 'properly' more quickly. There is a button on the back of the mount marked 'PRESS' which must be used to press the suction disk down before the lever is used to pull it back up for a secure hold. Problem is that it is not obvious, and can also be pretty well hidden by the mounting...

Good for the price - the two bolts that hold the middle section together aren't much good, I used two better ones of my own. Otherwise a decent bike carrier, pretty easy to assemble & fits onto Thule roof bars easily. Instructions are a bit vague, but you can't go far wrong once you get the bits in the right order.

Ive had a couple of helmet-mounted cameras before getting the Contour camera and the mounts have always been "tempramental" to say the best. From the picture on Amazon, this one didn't look too convincing either but I gave it a go and I'm glad that I did.

Unlike a lot of other mounts, which use a combination of velcro and glue, this one uses two fabric "tapes" with snap-lock fasteners. The tapes are of generous length which means that they are highly adaptable to whatever the vent-spacing on your helmet happens to be. Fitting them is easy, loop the tapes through the vents, run them through the plastic snap-locks and clicp them tight. Stability of the camera comes from cinching the tapes up nice and tight, which the snap-lock connectors make easy work of. Using the tapes to mount also means that it's easy to get the lens positioned just how you want it on the helmet - central or to one side - just by adjusting the tape lengths.

I recieved this very quickly. You have to use all three fixings to secure the bracket, as the bike will put a lot of stess on the bracket. I like the way you can lock the bike to the bracket. However you must know howmyounare going to fit the bike to it , before you fix the bracket to the wall.
