Disappointed with Barracuda
I received this cycle and after 2 weeks it started to make a clicking and grinding noise from the Bottom Bracket I tried tightening everything I could think of but it still persisted.
I returned this one and was sent a replacement however today the same issues has started with the replacement cycle I have had it checked out and it is the Bottom Bracket that is again broken.
Not sure why 2 would be the same unless it is cheaper less quality parts.
I am not bothering to return this cycle as the last one took 3 weeks to get it collected and returned by Yodel and eventually as I got near to being charged for the replacement Amazon sent City Link to collect my return then 1 week later Yodel turned up.

Cant fault it so far..
I had my local bike shop assemble the bike and safety check it as Im a novice cyclist & wasnt confident doing it myself. When built its a very attractive & well finished bike! Tested it out today on a 15 mile cycle and I really cant fault it. Gear changes are smooth, the ride is solid, brakes are very sharp. Im 6ft 4" and the frame size seems to be perfect for me. The seat can also be adjusted easily without the need for any tools. Will update my review once Ive travelled some substantial milage. A previous review mentioned the bearings in the crankshaft wearing very quickly but only time will tell I suppose.

Bike came on time and arrived as described. Very good service. Only grumble is that it arrived without a seat adjustment. I contacted the company who were only too happy to help out, by sending me a replacement. However, a new bike was sent as a replacement which I found a bit over the top. I had to arrange for it to be sent back. Perhaps spare bits could be kept for the bikes? Would use company again.

This is further to my review of the matching rear wheel. I forgot to add that I was also worried about the sizing as I was replacing a pair of 27" Airlites with tubs. No need to worry at all - didn't even have to re-adjust the front brake!

Great product
I'm 50+ and over 15 stones and just getting back into cycling so I was a little worried about these narrow rims and new fangled spokes. No need to worry at all - this wheel, and the matching front (there, that saves me reviewing that as well!!!) are showing no signs of giving up. Still absolutely true and black. So why 4 stars? A bit harsh really but I wanted a "double fixed" version and there doesn't appear to be one - freewheeling is for whimps and I have refused to fit one!!!

does what it should
Had these mudguards on my last bike and got them for my latest. yes they are that good. easy to put on and take off. thin stream line and it stops surface water being flung up my back or in the face of the cyclist behind me. Of course because the gaurds do not extend over all of the top half of the wheel you get surface water on the frame but that i can live with. All in all a great product and I do recomend it.

Best Guards/Fenders I've ever had
Though the price may be somewhat steep, you will quickly see why with the quality of this product. High wearing and flexible. I have had the same pair for 1+ year and has endured bumps and scratches without breaking and is an essential addition to your bike if you want to keep your trousers from getting mud water on them!

I just installed this product on my hybrid Boardman bike (700c 28) yesterday. It is gorgeous!!!

The manual could be better though. Being used to IKEA simple manuals to assemble rather complex furniture, it is a shame something so simple as fitting a mudguard can be made complicated due to a poor manual.

Writing a good manual is not rocket science.

Anyway, 5 star for the product, 2 stars for the manual.

Great bike
Bought this bike for my girlfriend to come trial biking with me.
Shes had it for 3 months now after previously owning the 2011 version. This one is even better.
Holds up well from jumps and handles the bumps very well too!
As an experienced mountain biker I would say this has the quality of any 400GBP bike without the price tag.

I have had this bike 6 weeks now. Only bought for occasional use and been out on it a dozen times or so. It seems a good buy, only downfall is it is a bit heavy. Also the seat can hurt after use but that is probably the case with most bikes. I would recommend this bike for people just going out cycling to get fit. Not for the cycling fanatic.
