You Get what you pay for
Bike arrived with a faulty front tyre, which turned out to be a hole in the inner tube. We experienced further problems with the bike after it was assembled including issues with the brakes and the rear wheel moving forwards when being riden even though it's been fully tightened!

Bike looks good, but the quality isn't great, ideal if you want/need a cheap and cheerful bike.

Firstly this is NOT a raleigh bike, it has been designed by raleigh. I was little let down to receive it and only then discovered it.
instructions were very general and therefore not helpful.
Gears are stiff at the moment, but I am hoping ver time they ease a little.

and also the chain. I bought this machine for a young friend of mine who was delighted with it and after a period of running in, I adjusted the brakes and gear change mechanisms. This would be easy enough for any kind of DIY person and there is a very comprehensive booklet/manual that comes with the bike. There adjustments are well thought out and fine tuning gives good results.
