Disappointed with Barracuda
I received this cycle and after 2 weeks it started to make a clicking and grinding noise from the Bottom Bracket I tried tightening everything I could think of but it still persisted.
I returned this one and was sent a replacement however today the same issues has started with the replacement cycle I have had it checked out and it is the Bottom Bracket that is again broken.
Not sure why 2 would be the same unless it is cheaper less quality parts.
I am not bothering to return this cycle as the last one took 3 weeks to get it collected and returned by Yodel and eventually as I got near to being charged for the replacement Amazon sent City Link to collect my return then 1 week later Yodel turned up.

Cant fault it so far..
I had my local bike shop assemble the bike and safety check it as Im a novice cyclist & wasnt confident doing it myself. When built its a very attractive & well finished bike! Tested it out today on a 15 mile cycle and I really cant fault it. Gear changes are smooth, the ride is solid, brakes are very sharp. Im 6ft 4" and the frame size seems to be perfect for me. The seat can also be adjusted easily without the need for any tools. Will update my review once Ive travelled some substantial milage. A previous review mentioned the bearings in the crankshaft wearing very quickly but only time will tell I suppose.

How to lock the Barracuda to your roof bars
There are loads of great reviews on this product so I don't need to write another. A common theme however, throughout is the fact that most customers don't know how to LOCK the carrier to the roof bars.

Here's how...

Once the carrier is fitted to the roof bars and before you secure your bike to it simply push the locking arm all the way to the front of the carrier. Then make sure the levers either side of where the front wheel sits are fully pushed home. When you return the locking arm to the the rear it 'LOCKS' the lever in place preventing them from being undone. Simply put by pushing the arm all the way forwards then returning it you can lock the carrier to the roof bars whether you have a bike fitted or not, so you can leave your carrier fitted to the bars without fear of theft.

Without doubt these are the best you will find for the price.

Cheap and nasty
Bought this item for my twelve year old as a Xmas gift and have only just unpacked and assembled. Returned the first one delivered as was obvious when looking into the box that it was damaged. Once assembled the second bike was so out of adjustment that I had to employ a mobile cycle technician to set it up and do a safety check. The wheels had to be trued as out of alignment, brakes set up and the gears took a great deal of effort to get them into some semblance of usability as they are low quality components.
