easy to fit, toddler loves it.
This is fitted to my 26inch wheeled 17 inch frame non suspension all terrain bike. As I'm short I usually have a teenagers bike with 20 inch wheels and more often than not a folding bike. However after much research I found that the only way to get a child bike seat on these types of bike involved 'modifying' brackets etc and I wasn't happy with the safety implications of doing this.

I did look at some seats in the usual halfords and cyclesuk.

The fitting was easy and quick. It was easier with two of us doing it to check it was straight etc. The quick release system is just that - quick & easy to remove and replace the bike seat.

My toddler is happy in the seat. She is 99cm and 14kg. It was easy to adjust the height of the foot rests and easier than I thought getting her in, then strapping her in with the seatbelt and foot straps. 2 year old loves it
I take the 2 year old out on this attached to my mountain bike. Fitted no problem and feels very stable, I have no worries (or I wouldn't use it). My wee girl enjoys herself getting taken everywhere, waving to people as she goes. Seems comfortable enough and if she falls asleep the recling mode works well. The straps are good too, no chance of her unclipping. Just need to be careful not to get out the saddle as you don't have the same balance, so safer to walk up the hills if you're not strong enough to get up in the saddle. I am happy with this and would recommend!

Brilliant product
I bought this bike seat for my daughter when she was about 10 months old, and have used it to take her to nursery every day until very recently - so for nearly 2 years (I have only stopped using it now as I'm 6 months pregnant and it was getting to be hard work to carry her and my bump on the bike all the time!).
I seem to recall that fitting it in the first place was a bit tricky (and involved lots of swearing from my husband), and there were bits missing from the translated instructions, but once it was on it stayed on securely for all the time I was using it.
The adjustable footrests and straps are great for accomodationing growing children, and the fact that it can be reclined is very handy (my daughter was always falling asleep on the way home, so it made it a bit more comfy for her - It was suggested to me that a reclining one was a very good idea, or your child can end up head-butting you in the back as they doze off!). Having said that, she did still sometimes lean...

Does what it says on the tin
Bought one of these last week, easy enough to fit, and sturdy. My daughter is delighted by it and really enjoys the experience. The item came with a good selection of fitting brackets for various frame sizes and was very easy to adjust to get the centre of gravity correct. I'm very happy with it so far!

Loving it
I searched around looking for different trailers, and this one by far is one of the sturdy ones on the market.
The only thing it doesn't tell you is that it has a clamp to fasten onto your bike. I have a quick release bike. On the details they all say you need a spare part. You don't!
This trailer is neat with a alloy frame. The frame also gives protection. My daughter loves this trailer she can see all the way around. She calls out for her friends to come and look on the Nursery run. All envious. I mainly use this on the on pathways/road. You have enough space in the back to put school bags and any essential kit. It does fold flat. Slightly fiddley when you dismantle it. It takes a few goes to get the hang of it.
I would defo recommend this to all my friends and family.
Buy one in time for the summer it's brill.

Love this trailer
We bought this trailer after a lot of research. We have used it everyday for the last two months for our 2 children aged 1 and 3 on hilly gradient. Its perfect - its not heavy, easy to attach and detach. The seating space is just enough for our kids, it has generous storage at the back. I don't have any complaints.

Great Reclining Child's Seat
This is a great seat that has the advantage over most others with it's three position backrest allowing your toddler to doze off comfortably when wanted! Okay, but not brilliant considering the price
It wobbles about quite a bit on my son's head, and it's trickier than my other son's Giro helmet to change the tightness using the dial at the back. Also if his hair is slightly longer, it pulls a bit when I tighten the dial. On the positive side though, it is handy having the dial at the back. With some patience you can achieve the desired fit. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product.

Good value, amazing design flaw
This is our first bike child seat. The kid loves it. With a second mount on the Amazon offer you can swap it very easily between two bikes (if you want a second mount actually made by Hamax, don't go for the Amazon offer). It's light rather than sturdy. It has some clip-on bits to prevent the kid's feet from bouncing around and getting into the spokes. We haven't tried the reclining thing yet.

There is a lot of flex in the steel rails even with a 9kg kid, i.e. at the lower end of the age range Hamax recommend. This movement is undamped so it's not a perfect solution. But it it works well enough and there were no complaints from the back seat.

Unfortunately this flex exposes an awful flaw. The seat is secured to the rail using a removable sliding plastic cam at right angles to the direction of travel, almost the full width of the seat. This is so that you can take the rail out and insert it backwards, to save storage space. So far, so good.

Great bike seat but might not work for your little ones...
Nice seat, attached well and quickly. Seems comfy and is nice and secure. My one issue is that the back of the seat is high and does not allow any room for the back of the helmet on a small child. Because of this the helmet on our little one (a large 18 mo.) kept getting pushed forward onto his face. Because of this e have to put our older child (3)into this seat since her helmet is higher than the back of the seat and we put him into our other Hamax seat which has room for the back of the helmet.

I had a real problem finding any good reviews of front-mounted child seats, so now that I've bought one I thought I'd share my thoughts.

We love our OK Baby Orion seat. It suits the riding we do. It fits my bike. It doesn't get in the way too much. My daughter loves riding up front. It fits nice and solidly, and feels safe.

The questions I had were:
Will it fit my bike? First have a good look at the fitting instructions http://www.use.okbaby.info/pdf_ciclo/LIB003R03EU_EN_ORION.pdf To fit the basic product you need about 20mm (measured at the back) of accessible head tube.
