easy to fit, toddler loves it.
This is fitted to my 26inch wheeled 17 inch frame non suspension all terrain bike. As I'm short I usually have a teenagers bike with 20 inch wheels and more often than not a folding bike. However after much research I found that the only way to get a child bike seat on these types of bike involved 'modifying' brackets etc and I wasn't happy with the safety implications of doing this.

I did look at some seats in the usual halfords and cyclesuk.

The fitting was easy and quick. It was easier with two of us doing it to check it was straight etc. The quick release system is just that - quick & easy to remove and replace the bike seat.

My toddler is happy in the seat. She is 99cm and 14kg. It was easy to adjust the height of the foot rests and easier than I thought getting her in, then strapping her in with the seatbelt and foot straps. 2 year old loves it
I take the 2 year old out on this attached to my mountain bike. Fitted no problem and feels very stable, I have no worries (or I wouldn't use it). My wee girl enjoys herself getting taken everywhere, waving to people as she goes. Seems comfortable enough and if she falls asleep the recling mode works well. The straps are good too, no chance of her unclipping. Just need to be careful not to get out the saddle as you don't have the same balance, so safer to walk up the hills if you're not strong enough to get up in the saddle. I am happy with this and would recommend!

good solid seat at a good price
Both my 2 year old and my 4 year old enjoy this seat. It's good value, sturdy and comfortable. It's made in Norway so I assume it's also safe enough. It is fitted to the bike's frame with a double metal bracket which acts as a suspension at the same time. The seat can easily be taken off the bracket when not needed or to use on a second bike (if you buy a spare bracket). The backrest leaves enough headroom for a helmet. It has a 3 point harness that is easy to fit. The padding has a velvety non slip feel but is made of plastic so that it does not soak up the rain.

If you have the buget go for the reclining version of this seat ("Sleepy"), especially if you have kids under 2 or if you're going on longer trips. The child's head is fairly upright in this seat and might fall forward when to child falls asleep. This has not happened to me yet as my kids don't even sleep in the car...

Expensive but Worth It.
I bought this seat for my daughter who is one years old. I had done quite a bit of research and albeit there were cheaper seats out there, I decided to go for this one - and I'm glad I did.

The beauty of this seat is that it can be fitted to and removed from your bike in seconds. The way it is secured is great. You simply push the seat in to the mechanism attached to the bike, and to release you simply press a button. Very quick and very sturdy.

Highly recommended.

Brilliant product
I bought this bike seat for my daughter when she was about 10 months old, and have used it to take her to nursery every day until very recently - so for nearly 2 years (I have only stopped using it now as I'm 6 months pregnant and it was getting to be hard work to carry her and my bump on the bike all the time!).
I seem to recall that fitting it in the first place was a bit tricky (and involved lots of swearing from my husband), and there were bits missing from the translated instructions, but once it was on it stayed on securely for all the time I was using it.
The adjustable footrests and straps are great for accomodationing growing children, and the fact that it can be reclined is very handy (my daughter was always falling asleep on the way home, so it made it a bit more comfy for her - It was suggested to me that a reclining one was a very good idea, or your child can end up head-butting you in the back as they doze off!). Having said that, she did still sometimes lean...

Does what it says on the tin
Bought one of these last week, easy enough to fit, and sturdy. My daughter is delighted by it and really enjoys the experience. The item came with a good selection of fitting brackets for various frame sizes and was very easy to adjust to get the centre of gravity correct. I'm very happy with it so far!

Loving it
I searched around looking for different trailers, and this one by far is one of the sturdy ones on the market.
The only thing it doesn't tell you is that it has a clamp to fasten onto your bike. I have a quick release bike. On the details they all say you need a spare part. You don't!
This trailer is neat with a alloy frame. The frame also gives protection. My daughter loves this trailer she can see all the way around. She calls out for her friends to come and look on the Nursery run. All envious. I mainly use this on the on pathways/road. You have enough space in the back to put school bags and any essential kit. It does fold flat. Slightly fiddley when you dismantle it. It takes a few goes to get the hang of it.
I would defo recommend this to all my friends and family.
Buy one in time for the summer it's brill.

We bought this trailer after a lot of research. We have used it everyday for the last two months for our 2 children aged 1 and 3 on hilly gradient. Might catch you out...
We bought this child seat for our 23 month old daughter and though she finds it very comfortable it's got an awful flaw, it bounces. We didn't find out till it was far too late but fortunately the crash was only at low speed. What tends to happen is the weight on the back wheel becomes unloaded and loose due the seat bouncing. If your on a grave path, as we were, you suddenly have no control. We did follow the instructions, regarding seat position over the wheel, but I'm afraid comfort in this product has come at the expense of the bikes stability.

Now we can all go out for a ride.
Summer has now been and gone, and we have been using this all summer long to take the little one out and about. Easy to fit, easy to use and best of all we can all go out on a bike trip. If you love riding and you have a little one this is for you.

Robust bike seat
This bike seat is very strong and seems very solid. It's quite heavy, but that's probably in its favour as the mounting is heavier than others such as the Hamax but much more secure. Note, that it's critical to secure the bracket EXTREMELY tightly to the central frame post, since otherwise the seat can tilt backwards a little. Also, the instructions clearly indicate that the centre of gravity of the seat (marked with a cross) must not go more than 8cm behind the rear axle. You do really notice if the seat is too far back since the bike's steering changes from rocksteady to easily oversteered, so I learnt something from my mistake. It arrived very quickly from Amazon and it's easy to set up on the bike (a hybrid). I get the impression that the Bobike mounting bracket is more stable than the Hamax one, which tend to have the child and their seat bouncing up and down when the bike goes over a bump - note, I've never used a Hamax myself, just observed them on other bikes, so I can't tell...
