High quality bike
This is the third bike I buy for my daughter. I could see the difference straight as I was taking it out of its cardboard. Everything fits and is well adjusted, the quality of materials is top quality--the frame itself, add-ons like bell and speed-changer, handle grips, saddle, paint job, instructions booklet, etc. This is by far the best quality bike I've had to buy in my limited cycling experience.

The bike itself is well-designed and ergonomic. The 24'' wheel format is a perfect compromise between a kid's size bike and adult bike. I was worried that it would be too high for my just-turned-eight daughter but she rides it with confidence on its lowest saddle setting. At the same time I'm hopeful it will last her a good few years: the other day I saw an adult woman get off the train with the same bike and she didn't look ridiculous on it. The style is suitable for girls without being too girlish, which I'm sure will matter too when she's a few years older and won't want to...

Early impressions are good
My eldest had spotted this on Amazon and I tried to put him off spending this amount of money on a second bike. However, he'd asked for money for his 11th birthday and as it was his birthday money, we decided to let him go ahead.

Bike arrived well protected and packaged. The box does clearly state that it has to be kept upright otherwise damage will be done to the bike if placed flat - I think this is basically because of the longer then normal wheel screws which could scratch the frame if they come into contact with each other. It does need a certain amount of assembly:- Handle bars, brakes, saddle, pedals and front wheel. However, very straight forward and all the tools are supplied in the box along with a minimal set of instructions.

Once all done, it does look pretty impressive and seems well constructed. Time will tell how it fairs once it's been thrown about a bit by him and he starts to try some tricks on it. Would have been nice if it came with stunt...

Once built looks good but hard to assemble
I bought this bike for my son and was pleased with how quickly it was delivered. However, when assembling the bike the instruction booklet was not helpful and had no information on how to attach the brake cables. It tells you to go to the website and watch a dvd of how to connect the cables, however, I was not able to view the video due to my computer security blocking it. I don't know why they cannot just have better instructions and diagrams that come with the bike rather than sending you to the website which you might not be able to access.
That being said, once I figured out how to attach the brake cables the bike looks great and my son loves it.

Engineers' delight!
Ingenious toy - our baby boy (just 1 yr.) enjoys working out the different mechanisms of the roller balls on the bottom almost as much as riding on it (which requires a deal of concentration for his age and small size, and abundant parental guidance!).
This will ease as his legs get stronger and more co-ordinated - it's a terrific machine - he also uses it to practise walking by holding onto the handle and pushing it backwards! It arrived in good time and well packaged.

Great first bike for your little one! I researches everywhere and this is the best you can get to start them off with. Price wise = excellent! Bike itself = again, excellent!
Why 4 Stars?
Because when it arrived there was a rattle that was a nut that had come undone/not been put on properly. I was particularly "miffed-off" as someone picked this bike off the storage shelf & then wrapped it up for P&P. The rattle was obvious to me before I had even taken it out of it's box! So, why didn't said person do the right thing and get another one off the shelf and then inform their manager of it? People never cease to amaze me!
I'm into my biking anyway & am pretty well set-up home mechanic. No big deal here but it meant taking it apart, putting the but back into position & putting it back together again. A little fiddly but took about 15 minutes. You'd need a 3mm Allen (Hex) key & size 3 Star (torque) key or security key as some call it. The bike itself is so simple...

Love this bike
We got this bike for my 2 and half year old son for christmas. He loves the fire burst design and so do we, all the other small boys bikes we found were 'babyish' with cartoon characters or silly designs on, but this is a proper boys bike! Comes with cup holder and matching juice cup which my son calls his 'motorbike juice'! comfy padded seat and nice grip handle bars. Apparently was a slight pain to put together as didn't come with all the tools you need, but farely easy to assemble once you've got the kit.

Missing pieces and incomplete instructions
Do not but this product. It comes unassembled and generally, the instructions are good. The pieces for each part of the assembly come separately bagged to avoid confusion.

However, the front brake assembly comes completely separately, and there are no instructions whatsoever in terms of how to assemble it. Furthermore, once you start to assemble it is clear that not all the necessary pieces are there.

This is very frustrating, and this product will have to be returned.

This was my sons Christmas present and he was thrilled with it, the bike looks great and was very easy to put together, just wheels and handlebars, the colours are bright and overall I was very pleased with it. Delivered promptly in a big cardboard box for protection.

No saddle included!
On receiving the goods and unpacking everything, it seems that the saddle has not been packed! i therefore have a very upset 6 year old boy!!!!
