I like it!
Been using this for a while and have been quite impressed. It's quite straight forward to set up, but you will need some basic tools to do it. If you're comfortable fixing a puncture then this is well within your skillset. The clamp that attaches to the childs bike will scratch the paintwork, but then the bike's going to get bashed up anyway. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants to take their kids out on bike rides that would be too long for them to pedal themselves.

Trail-Gator Towbar
My son grew out of his WeeRide seat and I purchased the trail-gator so we could continue to cycle as a family.
So far it has been excellent, Sam is enjoying being on a bike again.
The instructions are very good and easy to follow.
I saw another review on Amazon about the brackets scratching the paint of the child's bike so I took the precaution of taping it up before fitting the trail-gator which seems to have solved that problem.
The only thing that caught me out was the torque required to tighten certain bolts, don't get it right and the child's bike will tip to one side. Luckily I found this out on a dry run. Follow the instructions about applying the right torque and there isn't a problem.

Good training or touring tyre but with limitations
I have a carbon fibre road bike and ride for fitness and not for commuting and I am a fairly aggressive rider. I have ridden over 500 miles on a pair of these tyres with only 2 punctures. If you are willing to compromise on ride comfort and still want a fairly fast and grippy race tyre for training, or a generally robust touring tyre then I can recommend the Gator Hardshell.

Pros
Does seem to reduce the likelihood of punctures from stone chippings and thorns etc.
A fairly fast tyre but not as fast as a softer road tyre.
Pretty grippy in dry and wet conditions, although a softer race tyre is generally better.
Good value long distance touring tyre.

Cons
Very difficult to fit an inner tube. If you do get a puncture then it is difficult to fit a new tube. Something you would only want to do in the comfort of your own garage or on a nice summer's day. Not recommended as a competition tyre.
Slightly harder ride than a normal race...
