Initial Opinion
This product is well designed, the sloping fronts avoid your heels colliding with them whilst pedalling and the stiffening inserts fit well inside the retaining cavities. The covers fit well and are easily opened and closed.
I haven't used them much yet, so don't know about long term durability but they appear well made.
The only small improvement I would like to have seen is to be able to remove them from the bike quickly so as to take them into the supermarket with me. However, with practice, the 4 belt buckles and 2 Velcro straps will no doubt get easier to operate.

Highly recommend this helmet
I am onto my second Bell Slant. I crashed in my first (a collision with a car) and it I saved me from significant head injuries. I am massively impressed with the strength of this helmet and would recommend to any commuter.

Superb Lid
This Helmet is excellent, as are all MET helmets. This is the third one I have owned (I have a habit of falling off). Each helmet has protected my head exceptionally well. The last one I got through, hit the ground so hard a large piece broke off. Yet I suffered no damage to my head whatsoever. I would thoroughly recommend this helmet.

Very happy with my purchase in the end, no thanks to the seller.
My biggest gripe is that the sizes listed above are:
L = 59-61cm
M = 54-58cm
S = 50-53cm

but those listed on the Catlike website [...] are

XS/ 53-54cm / 230gr
SM/ 54-56cm / 240gr
MD/ 56-58cm / 260gr
LG/ 58-61cm / 270gr

I tried contacting the seller to ask them to check their information and got no reply.

In the end I decided to purchase the one that was labelled "S = 50-53cm" on Amazon. The helmet I received had a sticker on the inside which read "SM 54 / 56cm"

My head is 55cm and it fits fine.

In fact it has lots of adjustment for odd-shaped heads. Padding is decent to make it comfortable. Venting is excellent - you'll struggle to find anything better. And it looks great!

It's quite a lot of money for a cycle helmet, but this is the cheapest I found it, and I'm happy to have spent the extra to get a quality product, and one that is a bit different to the generic venting patterns...
