It seems to be a solid lock but my only comment is that the attach mount is not a good design- cannot use it on my bike so have to carry lock in my backpack...very heavey!

The Super Magneto Pro arrived in eco-friendly packaging with no polystyrene in sight. The operating manual is just sheets of A4 stapled together but is easy to follow.

The trainer is easy to set up - push in a button and extend each leg. Attaching the bike is also straight forward using the supplied skewer. There was a small amount of trial and error getting the resistance unit tight enough to the tyre to prevent slipping. A levelling foot helps with uneven floor surfaces, but it is only on one of the legs. So, if the floor is sloping the wrong way there is not a lot you can do (apart from turn the complete unit around).

I have the trainer sitting on thin foam type mats on a concrete floor and it has not moved an inch, even with some vigorous pedalling. It holds my bike very solidly with minimal (far less than normal road...

This trainer comes pre-assembled and with a quick release skewer. For bikes without a quick release rear wheel, it's necessary to buy axle nuts with a rounded end like the Tacx nuts sold by Amazon. The trainer is not particularly heavy despite a chunky framework and rotor. It folds up neatly and the supporting legs lock closed so that they don't trip you up when you're carrying it. Those legs also lock when they are opened, providing a solid base for in or out of the saddle work. The variable resistance has four settings; Easy, Road, Interval, and Mountain. Unlike fixed resistance trainers or those that are set with a handlebar mounted lever, low speed means low resistance and increasing the speed increases the resistance. I've added an image to the Amazon images that shows watts at different speeds and the four resistance settings.
