An excellent GPS and training tool but not without flaws!!
Set-up is easy and intuitive. Just like the menu system navigation. So all looking pretty good.
The device is pretty small but the read out is very clear and can be configured to display data to your requirements. Anywhere up to 6 data fields can be displayed on a screen and you can have upto 3 screens active at any one time. The device can automatically scroll between the screens at set intervals. This is an excellent number of fields displayable. The newer Bryton 20 is limited to only 3 fields - which can be limiting the moment you add a HR monitor and/or cadence sensor.
The ANT+ cadence detector is pretty easy to set-up. Both the magnet and sensor have to be pretty close. So either angle the sensor or pad out the magnet on the crank arm to get it working.
Signal is both good and reliable. Signal acquisition is pretty fast as well.
The HRM also works beautifully... although for some reason the Bryton HRM strap seems to go through an endless number of batteries...

Competent good value product, but!
I bought one of these for my son, I have a Garmin. The head unit itself is fairly straight forward, in that you switch it on and it works. I did however have extensive problems with the supplied sensors and software.

The unit comes with an HRM sensor, a Speed/Cadence sensor, a quick start manual and a small CD. The instructions tell you to load the Bridge software from the CD. I did this and ran into problems. The software has been updated and this turned out to cause a few minor difficulties. Far better to load any software direct from the Bryton website. I also found that rather than use the Bridge software on your own PC, it was easier to log into a Bryton website account and manage all the data online. From the website it is very easy to transfer data to a website of your choice, indeed it will do this semi automatically for sites such as Strava.

The supplied sensors would not work at first. There is very little information in the quick start manual, nothing...
