Flimsy construction
I have had this lock for about 6 months, and I have had no complaints until 2 days ago when one half of the plastic collar surrounding the the light switch fell off.
On closer inspection it appears that the two halves of plastic making up the collar are just glued together so that it would have just been a matter of time before this part failed.
I have repaired it by regluing and drilling a hole through the two pieces of plastic and putting a tension wire band around them to hold them in position.
Poorly designed, and only needs a simple modification to correct it.

Item arrived quickly and was as expected. Not the most secure but small enough to carry around OK. All round pretty good for the price

Some design failures and no response re: dud batteries
I've bought this Kryptoflex cable lock and a Kryptonite mini U Lock.
I've very satisfied with the U Lock, less so with this cable lock. The rotating cover to the keyhole is difficult to turn, luckily I'm not an arthritic pensioner.
I've reported that one of the button batteries was dud the other low, but I've had no response via Amazon.
The locating mechanism for securing the lock to the bracket needs a bit more thought - it could so easily have been made much easier to use.
