Giro Seam Helmet - perfect fit.
Just bought it and haven't used it on the slopes yet. I hope a few points below will be useful for someone.

1. Giro Seam helmet has ventilation. I do not believe I could ski for long wearing a helmet without it, as I tend to push it and I sometimes sweat. Too much sweating and my wet head freezes on the chair lift.

2. Skiing when it is snowing without the possibility of closing the vents could sometimes lead to accumulation of snow (especially wet snow) in the vents, thawing and wet head. This helmet has a simple vent closing system. This will also come
useful in extreme cold.
I can close and open it with my gloves on (they are NOT the super thick variety).

3. There is a simple to operate wheel adjustment at the back customising precisely the size of the helmet to the head. It perfectly cancels any size imperfection. Not many helmets have it. I can operate it with my gloves on.

Excellent helmet
I have had the Giro G10 for several years, and it was time to replace it. That model is still available, but I decided to go for the newer model, the Seam.

It is a small but clear improvement on the G10. It is lighter, has a washable liner and improves on the G10's very good ventilation system. If the G10 fits, then the Seam will fit.

It is called a snowboard helmet, but it is, of course, equally suitable for skiing.
