Firstly this is NOT a raleigh bike, it has been designed by raleigh. I was little let down to receive it and only then discovered it.
instructions were very general and therefore not helpful.
Gears are stiff at the moment, but I am hoping ver time they ease a little.
the bike is slightly heavier than first thought, but I only use it occasionally.

This product arrived in a partially assembled condition with just the pedals, handlebars, saddle and front wheel to be added.This was quite straightforward and the only thing I did as an extra was to oil the control cables for the brakes and gears
and also the chain. I bought this machine for a young friend of mine who was delighted with it and after a period of running in, I adjusted the brakes and gear change mechanisms. This would be easy enough for any kind of DIY person and there is a very comprehensive booklet/manual that comes with the bike. There adjustments are well thought out and fine tuning gives good results.
